When a mother raccoon is trapped or removed, it’s easy to forget she may have babies depending on her. 🦝
Today we performed an emergency extraction after two baby raccoons were discovered trapped inside an exterior wall of a home. Their mother was removed by another company, leaving them without any way to survive on their own.
Using specialized tools, we carefully inspected behind the wall before cutting it open, accessed the cavity, safely removed both babies, and transported them to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator where they’ll receive the care they need.
