The CVSA’s Operation Safe Driver Week 2021 will take place July 11 — 17.

This year, the area of emphasis for the blitz will be on speeding. Officers will also be on the lookout for other dangerous driving behaviors including reckless or aggressive driving, distracted driving, following too closely, improper lane change, failure to obey traffic control devices, failure to use a seat belt, and evidence of drunk or drugged driving.

26ft Box Truck is generally half the size and capacity of a tractor-trailer and typically has a Gross Vehicle Weight of 26,000lbs and can carry a maximum load weight of 10,000lbs.

*Fun fact: you do not need a CDL to drive Box Truck unless the GVW is 26,001lbs or more.

What is a hotshot truck?
A hotshot truck is a heavy duty pick-up truck often referred to as a Dually. It can pull up to a 48ft flatbed trailer (40ft is average).
You do not need a CDL if max load weight is 10,000lbs or less.
