Check on those books.

Review and segment that email list.

I did something quietly. While under the weather.

I knew it was coming.

The attention from it, faded.

A lot of people forgot the persona.

The love for it evolved into different areas of entrepreneurship, whether it was sneakers, clothing, timepieces, eyewear, ect.

I didn’t feel a way when I did it.

I looked at the streams, it was almost a million people.

I was like “total?” Or over a certain timeline?

I didn’t bother to check.

I knew it was time to let it go.

I didn’t have any physical copies, after hurricane harvey, there’s barely any physical anything of life before 2017 and that was cool too.

But one day, it’ll pop back up. Maybe with something new.

It was my first love. I got in trouble for it. Beefs. People hated me for it. But it inspired so much of what I do today.

Nobody noticed when I did it and it was ok.

But I’m serious, one day, it may pop back up.

But we took down all my music from streaming.

To be fair, you might snoop around and see a few on YouTube but… it’s curtains for the rest.

For now.

Happy Mother’s Day to every form of mother.

Some of you aren’t going to like this.
Most of you may see this and keep scrolling.

But to the few of you that get it, I want this to sink in:

I hate the term “I just bought to support a Black owned business”.

It’s its own particular wound. It feels like support but it was never really about me, NCMPRBL, STRUCTR or what you built. It was about most of us, us meaning black people feeling good. And then, you left.

The stimulus checks. The buy black moment I mentioned on the news in 2020 begging for US to do better.

DATA never lies. Outside from the outliers that wil say the following:

“ I support those who support me.” That means you don’t spend unless they spend with you first. That leaves everyone broke and that’s buying w ego. Not buying because of need, actual need.

That’s not brand loyalty, that’s a transaction dressed up as community.

And we/us, gotta stop that s**t.
