I’m honored that ACCE invited me to deliver the opening keynote with my Culture x Design partner, Maureen Post, at its annual Events & Communications Conference, October 14–16 in Milwaukee.

Our presentation, The Sixth Sense of Belonging: Building Cultural Trust Through Purposeful Events and Communications, looks at the signals people receive through every invitation, message, program choice, and event experience. Together, we’ll explore how chambers can align what they say with what people actually experience—and build deeper trust in the process.

If you’re attending, we’ll see you in the Great Lakes Ballroom!

Government contracts can open the door to lasting opportunities for small businesses. Finding the right opportunity and understanding how to pursue it can be the harder part.

Join us for a practical introduction to how city, county, and state agencies solicit services and award contracts. You’ll learn where to find bids and RFPs, what to look for before preparing a proposal, and how to decide whether to pursue an opportunity on your own or with partners.

Genyne Edwards, CEO of P3 Development Group, will facilitate the workshop. She brings experience securing state and local contracts and advising businesses on certifications, procurement policies, and strategic partnerships.

This is Part One of a two-part Creative Futures series for small-business owners, entrepreneurs, consultants, creatives, and nonprofit leaders interested in government contracting.

⏰: Doors open at 5:00p, program begins at 5:30p!

📍: 1060 N. Cass St.

📆: Wednesday, October 7th
