She started off as an artist herself, but found the business side of the music industry to be more appealing. As a graduate from McNally Smith College of Music with a Bachelors in Music Business, Najie C. has developed a creative business model to a concept that has been around for years, and plans to innovate the roles of managers and booking agents. Not only does she want to help artists develop

in the industry, but she wants to help them develop creatively as well. Here at Shift Forward we will not mold you to fit the industry, we will mold the industry to fit you as an artist. Whether you aspire to be a mainstream artist or stay on the indie level, we will tailor a plan just for you. We aren't a record label that will lock you into a 360 deal for the rest of your career, but we will help you get to that point. If you have the opportunity to sign to something bigger we wont stop you, but we will help you sign the best deal for you as an artist! Ultimately we want to give each and every artist a chance to grow and be successful in their chosen field. We pride ourselves on working with musicians in wide a variety of genres from Rap to Rock to Country. You define success and we will get you there. All that we ask is that you give us as much hard work and dedication as we give you.

We are happy to announce that we will be active in 2018! That means more local and national shows, and even more opportunities for artists. As well as many community events centered around change.

With that said we will be working with the nonprofit organization, RECLAIM, to grow their Art Heals event this June! Check out RECLAIM and all the work they do for the transgender community.
