MEET KATIE! 💜

If you’ve been following The Foot Nurse for a while, you probably know Katie—but here’s a little more about the woman behind the business.

Katie Sikel, RN, BSN, CFCS founded The Foot Nurse in 2016 after more than 20 years in nursing.

Her background includes cardiac nursing, hospital nursing, and a long career in home care. During her 13 years in home care, Katie recognized a significant need for professional, preventative foot care.

So she did something about it.

She pursued specialized foot-care training, became certified in foot care, and The Foot Nurse was born!

Today, Katie continues to provide foot care, train nurses, and grow a team dedicated to helping people maintain healthy feet, comfort, and mobility.

We’re pretty lucky to have her leading the team! 💜

Come with me to the Podiatrist.

After months of worsening foot pain I finally got some answers: Fibular Sesamoiditis.
I visited Dr. Becky Mullen a Concierge Podiatrist in Wayzata and loved having the time for a thorough assessment. Education and treatment plan without feeling rushed.

As a Footcare Nurse I am usually taking care of everyone’s feet this time. It was my turn.
