One of the main trends in the digital commerce space is for traditional media publications to jump into the pay-for-performance space to offset lost advertising revenue. Meredith Publications (think Better Homes & Gardens, People, etc.) was recently acquired by Dotdash (Byrdie, The Spruce, and other digital publications) for nearly $3B, as an inflection point in that direction.
