Mom and dad’s date night out ❤️

hopped in the boat with us once again for an awesome fishing segment. We caught probably upwards of 80 crappies 😳 We kept a few handfuls for a meal and sent the rest back swimmin.

There’s a whole lot of summer fishing to be had but we can’t help thinking of hunting season.

Kaitlin went door knocking and scored us some permission land on a pretty great farm a few years ago.

The farmer doesn’t ask much from us, just that we send him a picture if we get a big one, and of course, to be respectful of his land.

He doesn’t ask, but he definitely appreciates the crappies we leave at his door at the start of the season.

With our 1.5-year-old on board, our top priority is keeping fishing fun by spending less time searching and more time catching. The “High Abundance” filter makes it incredibly easy to narrow down lakes with a high concentration of our target species. This tool has made our time on the water more relaxing and enjoyable, and in turn, helping build our daughter’s confidence and nurture her growing love for fishing.With , we’re able to focus less on the guesswork and more on what matters most—enjoying every moment on the water together.
