Good news! We now have DNA Supply Kits available to make collecting samples even easier.
Just collect the blood sample, put it in the prepaid return envelope, and mail it back to us. Simple as that! 🧬

🐣 Come along with Caiden Joe and learn how to collect a blood sample for DNA testing!

1. Put on gloves.
2. Clean a toenail with alcohol.
3. Clip the tip of the toenail.
4. Let a drop of blood soak into a labeled coffee filter (the corner of a folded coffee filter works best).
5. Apply Wonder Dust to stop the bleeding.
6. Let the coffee filter dry completely, then place it in a Ziplock bag.
7. Band your bird so you know which sample belongs to which chick.
8. Mail your samples and wait for your results!
