Here is a quick look at the 2GIG sensors we install and why each one matters:

Door and Window Sensors — These go on every entry point in your home or business. The moment a door or window opens unexpectedly, your panel knows instantly. Simple, reliable, and one of the most important parts of any system.

Motion Detectors — Wide angle coverage for the interior of your space. If someone gets past the entry points, motion detectors are your next line of defense. They cover large areas and are smart enough to ignore pets while still catching intruders.

The image on the left is what most standard security cameras show you at night — grainy, washed out, and honestly not that useful if something actually happens. You can see something is there, but good luck identifying a face, a clothing color, or a license plate.

The image on the right is what Luminys color night vision looks like. Full color. Crystal clear. Even in complete darkness.

That difference matters more than people realize. When law enforcement needs to follow up on an incident, the details in that footage can be the difference between identifying someone and hitting a dead end. What color was the jacket? We want to share a little bit about who we are and why we started Delta Security Systems. 🇺🇸

After serving in the military and ending my military career at Ft Carson, Colorado felt like the right place to put down roots and build something meaningful. We saw a lot of our neighbors getting approached by big national security companies — door to door salespeople pushing long contracts, cookie cutter systems, and a customer service line that puts you on hold for 45 minutes when something goes wrong. We knew there was a better way.

When you're a veteran, you learn pretty quickly that the people next to you matter. You look out for them, you're honest with them, and you don't cut corners when their safety is on the line. That's exactly the mindset we bring to every single job we do here in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Denver.

That same mindset is what led us to start the Gold Star Valor Foundation. It began when a Gold Star family reached out to us for help securing their home after losing their husband and father to PTSD. We couldn't just treat that like any other job. So we gave them the equipment and installation for free — and 15 other local businesses stepped up to help cover the cost. That moment reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

The Gold Star Valor Foundation now provides free security equipment and installation to Gold Star and military families right here in our community. Because protecting the families of those who gave everything is the least we can do.

Being locally owned means we actually care about this community — because it's our community too. We shop at the same stores, our kids go to the same schools, and we drive the same roads. When you call us, you're not getting a call center. You're getting us.
