Every year, I get ornaments for the tree that represent what we want to remember. We get them for every family vacation as well as personal milestones, interests & values. The tree is our family scrapbook.

The ornament below is my ornament for this year.

Why? If it was a tough year, why would I want to remember that?

Well, so much was experienced. So much was felt, processed, released, and reimagined.

Some relationships were recommitted to in beautiful new ways, and some relationships reached their sunset.

There was spring, summer & fall cleaning of all the junk living in my mind & heart.

I think it’s important to remember ALL of it, because it made me better, happier, and will be the foundation of beautiful things next year & beyond.

Also, I want to remember it because it was my truth. These memories help me stay grounded into the building process that life is. These memories help me remember that the rain is a key condition that makes the rainbow possible.

It’s okay if this year wasn’t what you’d planned.

If it was hard, I’m confident that you’re being routed to beautiful new beginnings that are aligned with your path.

The seed grows in darkness and rain. Just because you’re not seeing results on the surface, doesn’t mean that growth isn’t in process.

Cheers to 2023! May next year hold good health, wealth and prosperity.

I slept 4 hours last night… and my brain was working the whole time on something…

Diving deep into harmful generational patterns and recognizing why breaking them is so hard and so important.

2+ hours and 13 journal pages later and I’m exhausted before my day even started. 🤣🤷‍♀️

There were some gems, though. And also some tangled messes in these pages. I will share them in other posts when I’m more coherent.

Anyone else working with this topic?

I’ve been quiet, but…

Even I don’t always have the words for what I’m experiencing.

I’ve been healing.

I’ve been sleeping… a lot

And cracking the code on why I sabotage my own body.

That story is wild. It has to do with a rebellious, teenaged version of me, whose “cries for help” - for adult attention and assistance - went unanswered.

So, I checked in with my past and I answered that call… and my world changed.

Cravings - Gone
Excuses - Gone
Resistance to food prep & cooking - Gone

I finally found the anchor that made taking care of myself SOOO hard.

It’s amazing how easy it is to “set sail” when there is no anchor holding you in place.

In this moment, I am happily:

* Choosing foods that are good for me
* Having a reasonable treat when I want one
* Having wine once a week (instead of most days)
* Taking my supplements
* Experiencing higher levels of energy & focus

And what am I doing with all that energy & focus?

… working on something BIG for business professionals! Stay tuned!

If you’re letting go of toxic relationships, I have to tell you something…

You are SO EASY to love.

Yes, really. Exciting, isn’t it?

So, know that. Say that to yourself. “I am SO EASY to love.”

Love into the people who match your energy and notice how easy they are to love.

Life feels completely different when you walk away from the people who struggle to love you.

You don’t have to be perfect to deserve that 💜
