Hello, June — the month where campaigns heat up, consumer behavior shifts, and every marketer starts asking the same question: What’s going to break through the noise next?

Right now, the trends are loud and clear:

• Human-first content is outperforming polished perfection

• Community-driven engagement is beating one-way broadcasting

• Micro-experiences are becoming the new brand differentiator

• Search + social convergence is reshaping how people discover brands

• Data-backed creativity is finally getting the spotlight it deserves

My bet for June:

Authenticity + smart data + creative risk-taking.

Not louder. Not flashier. Just more human and more strategic.

This month, I’m leaning into:

• Story-first content

• Community-driven engagement

• Thoughtful brand experiences

• Testing ideas that feel a little uncomfortable (the good kind)

If you’re experimenting with something new this month, I want to hear about it.

You can hold a product.

You can experience a service.

But you can only trust a brand.

That’s the real work.

Products ask you to love the features.

Services ask you to love the people.

And the way you market each couldn’t be more different.

Products need clarity.

Services need credibility.

Products sell what they do.

Services sell what they mean.

And meaning is harder—because choosing a service is choosing a relationship.

If you’re building a service brand, lead with your story, your values, your proof.

If you’re building a product brand, lead with your benefits, your experience, your difference.

At the end of the day, great marketing is simple:

Make it human. Make it honest. Make it matter.

Today I’m posting with a little Susan Style humor — because business advice goes down easier with SPF and a smile.

The most important investment your business can make today? Protection.

Not just from market volatility or competition — but from burnout, negativity, and the kind of “UV rays” that sneak into your mindset.

Today is National Sunscreen Day, part of National Safe Sun Week, and it’s a perfect reminder that prevention beats repair — in life and in business.

Just like sunscreen shields us from invisible damage, strong leadership shields teams from unseen stress.

Culture is your SPF.

Communication is your reapplication.

And attitude? That’s your shade umbrella.

So before diving into the day’s meetings, deadlines, and inboxes, take a moment to “rub in” a little positivity. Protect your people, your energy, and your purpose.

Because whether it’s UV rays or workplace friction — the higher your SPF level, the better your long‑term glow.

Don’t fry — thrive.

Age discrimination in the workplace isn’t subtle anymore. In 2026, it’s visible, measurable, and happening in ways that are impossible to ignore.

Marketing’s New Mood: Imperfect Is the New Perfect Lately, the most magnetic campaigns aren’t polished to perfection — they’re human. Brands are leaning into messy moments, unscripted humor, and real‑world chaos.

From unfiltered behind‑the‑scenes clips to typo‑ridden captions that somehow go viral, audiences are rewarding honesty over gloss. It’s not about being flawless anymore — it’s about being relatable.

The shift is clear: marketing is moving from “look at us” to “laugh with us.”

And honestly? That’s a trend worth celebrating.

If there’s one thing my career has taught me, it’s this: great marketing isn’t just about campaigns, channels, or KPIs — it’s about understanding people, building trust, and creating experiences that move them to act.

And that truth feels even more relevant today.

We’re watching AI reshape the industry in real time — hyper‑personalization, predictive analytics, automated content, and smarter customer journeys. But in a world where everyone has access to the same tools, the brands that win will be the ones that stay deeply, unmistakably human.

Looking back at my journey — from building PR departments from scratch, to leading multi‑location healthcare marketing, to running my own full‑service agency — the common thread has always been the same: help brands grow by telling the right story to the right audience at the right moment.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to:
-Build and lead two marketing agencies (Da‑Ve Communications and KaeSum Communications), delivering PR, digital, SEO, and brand strategy across beauty, lifestyle, healthcare, and consumer brands.
-Drive measurable growth in healthcare, including increasing patient volume by 25% at Sher Fertility and delivering 20–25%+ growth across multiple channels at IntegraMed.
-Strengthen brands from the inside out, elevating messaging, executive visibility, and cross‑functional alignment.
-Lead PR that put brands on the map — from The Oprah Winfrey Show to Time Magazine.
-Support human‑centered work in a Memory Care unit, deepening my belief that empathy is a strategic advantage.

My resume says I’m a “strategic marketing and communications executive with a strong record of driving growth…” and “known for executive-level leadership, data-driven decision-making…” — but what it doesn’t say is how much I genuinely love this work.

Marketing has taken me across industries, through evolving technologies, and into boardrooms, studios, clinics, and communities. Each role sharpened a different part of my craft — strategy, storytelling, analytics, leadership, and the ability to pivot quickly in a changing landscape.

And now, as AI accelerates everything around us, those fundamentals matter more than ever.

Today, I bring all of it with me:
-The agency agility
-The corporate discipline
-The healthcare precision
-The consumer products knowledge
-The PR instinct
-The human‑first mindset

I’m excited for what’s next — new partnerships, new challenges, and new opportunities to help brands grow with clarity, creativity, and purpose in a marketing world that’s evolving by the minute.

Today’s business landscape is sending a clear signal: The companies outperforming their peers aren’t the ones making massive reinventions — they’re the ones making micro‑pivots backed by data.

According to recent industry analyses, organizations that make incremental, data‑informed adjustments to strategy see up to 30–50% faster performance gains than those attempting large‑scale overhauls. Not because they’re playing it safe — but because they’re playing it smart.

Here’s what the data is showing:
-Customer behavior is shifting in smaller, more frequent waves, not giant leaps.
-Teams adapt faster when changes are iterative instead of seismic.
-Resource allocation improves when decisions are made using real‑time insights instead of annual assumptions.
-Risk drops significantly when strategy evolves in controlled, measurable steps.

A micro‑pivot might be as simple as:
-Repositioning a service based on emerging demand
-Redirecting budget toward the channels actually converting
-Refining messaging to match what customers are actually searching for
-Pausing one initiative to double down on a proven one

Small moves. Big math.

Because momentum isn’t built by blowing up the plan — it’s built by tightening the focus.

In 2026, precision is the new pivot.

If there’s one thing my career has taught me — from building PR engines at Tweezerman to leading regional growth at IntegraMed to running full‑service marketing agencies — it’s this:

Marketing never stops reinventing itself. And neither do we.

May 2026 is proving that again.

AI isn’t the “future” of marketing anymore — it’s the infrastructure. Google’s latest moves into agentic ads and AI‑powered campaign automation are reshaping how we create, capture, and convert demand.

At the same time, creators are shifting from quick-hit reels to episodic micro‑narratives, where authenticity beats polish and micro‑influencers outperform celebrity endorsements.

And across paid media, Meta is on track to surpass Google in global ad revenue — a clear signal that diversified, data‑fed automation is no longer optional.

For someone who has spent a career driving growth across healthcare, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer brands, these shifts feel less like disruption and more like validation.

This is exactly the kind of landscape where strategic marketers thrive:

• When storytelling becomes more human

• When data becomes more actionable

• When platforms evolve faster than playbooks

• When brand, performance, and PR finally operate as one ecosystem

From increasing patient volume by 25% at Sher Fertility to building agencies that deliver measurable results, I’ve always believed in meeting audiences where they are — and right now, they’re in AI‑shaped journeys, creator‑led conversations, and experience‑driven moments.

The marketers who win in 2026 won’t be the ones who chase every trend.

They’ll be the ones who know how to translate change into clarity, connection, and growth.

And that’s the work I love most.

A little Tuesday humor for a very serious world...Today’s vibe: logged in, caffeinated, and pretending my to‑do list isn’t staring at me like it pays rent.

If anyone needs me, I’ll be:

-Strategically prioritizing

-Re-prioritizing

-Re-re-prioritizing

-And then doing the thing that wasn’t even on the list

Marketing is wild. One minute you’re analyzing data, the next you’re designing a flyer, negotiating a budget, and emotionally supporting a printer that refuses to cooperate.

Happy Tuesday to everyone out here making it look easy when it is, in fact, not.
