The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) is seeking qualified and professional individuals to serve as Regional Reentry Coordinators in three regions of the State: North (Birmingham), Central (Montgomery) and the South (Atmore).

The Regional Reentry Coordinator is full-time, permanent, supervisory position in our Program Services Division. This role operates within correctional institutions and community corrections facilities across the state. The position is responsible for overseeing social services, reentry and case management programs designed to support the rehabilitation, behavioral management, and successful reintegration of incarcerated individuals.

FREE SMOKE DETECTOR INSTALLATION PROGRAM
MOODY FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Moody Fire Department is offering FREE smoke detector installation assistance for residents of the City of Moody.
Installation Dates
Installations are conducted on the:
• 4th Saturday of January
• 4th Saturday of February
• 4th Saturday of March
• 4th Saturday of July
• 4th Saturday of August
• 4th Saturday of September
IMPORTANT DEADLINE
Residents must register by the 2nd Thursday of the participating month.
LIMITED APPOINTMENTS
Only 12 homes can be scheduled each installation day. We cannot install in apartments or rental properties.

The STPA Online Learning Portal is officially coming soon.

Yes, it is real.

No, despite whatever Frank says after too much coffee, STPA is not applying for a federal grant, not opening a daycare, and not operating a “Learing” center.

We are building an online training portal so students, agencies, contractors, and working security professionals can access STPA training resources, course material, updates, and support without needing to chase emails, dig through old messages, or ask Frank where he put the thing he swears he already sent you.

This will support our in-person training, not replace the hands-on work that actually has to be done hands-on. Fi****ms, less-lethal, defensive tactics, practical skills, and range work are still real-world training problems, not couch-based fantasy football.

But for course prep, admin support, learning material, updates, refresher content, documentation, and student resources, this portal is going to make life a lot easier.

So yes, STPA Online Learning is coming.

No grants.
No daycare.
No mystery “learing” operation.
Just training, common sense, and hopefully fewer emails that start with, “Hey Frank, where is that link?”

Today is not about sales, slogans, or long weekends.
