1. Put on some good music & turn it up 🎶
2. Take items out and put into categories 🧴
3. Wipe down shelves 🧽
4. Pull out expired or items you don’t need ❌
5. Think about what makes the most sense for YOU on those shelves and GO!! 👏🏻

~Laundry rooms tend to go in one of two directions: highly organized and functional, or haphazard chaos. For many of us, our space tends to fall into the latter category—a catch-all room with socks wedged between units, & random puffs of lint. 🧺

~Going from mayhem to organized isn’t as difficult as you may think. Whether your space is teeny-tiny or awkwardly large, you just need to nix the clutter, create a spot for everything. 🧼🧹

~Before starting your reorganization project, take stock of everything in your laundry room and remove anything that isn’t working in your favor. ➡️🗑️

~Another option is to group like-items into plastic bins that are easy to clean. For example, you can have a bin for detergents, a bin for general cleaning products, and a bin for dryer products. Using uniform bins can help with the visual clutter of your space while also preventing you from having to shuffle around a bunch of different items to find what you’re looking for. 📥

*Through this process it’s important to determine what is “really needed” for future events/backup stock or what can be donated.

This can be a very daunting task to handle. It’s important to have someone there, an unbiased person help walk your through it. I’m really proud of my client for really wanting to make this change. 👏🏻👏🏻

My newest client had mentioned that her pantry,
“Screamed at her when she opened it.” 🤣

Anyone else feel that way at times?? 🤷🏼‍♀️

~All that needed to be done was take everything out & reorganize items to where it made more sense for them to be! She already had the bins & boxes!

4. Add Wire Shelving Along Walls.
5. Try Cubbies for Family Storage.

One of my absolute favorite things to do is to get to know my clients!! I had the pleasure of meeting a sweet new family who was transitioning their daughter to her own big girl room. She was excited to say the least!

This room was a 3 step process…

🛏Bedroom - Keep items together.
~Undergarments, swimsuits, socks, shorts, pants & school uniforms all should be stored in similar drawers or with “pocket organizers”.

👗Closet - Hang by color.
~ Tank tops, T-shirts, Dresses, Sweaters & Sweatshirts. Keeps tidy!

🫧Bathroom - Use containers.
~Those makeup pallets, nail polishes, brushes, and bath bombs need a special place!

Spices should be kept in a cool, dry, dark area of your kitchen, like the pantry, in a drawer, or hanging on a door to prolong their life.

🌶Red colored spices
~Red Pepper
~Paprika
~Chili Powder
💡Should always be stored in the fridge.

1. Take everything out
2. Toss expired items
3. Wipe the shelves down
4. Add spinning racks or pull out drawers for easier access.
5. Label if needed

This always inspires me to want to bake or cook with my little ladies!! 👯‍♀️
