Another good week, putting down four more gravel shed pads.
Every pad we build is a full 2 feet larger than the building size (1 foot on each side). It gives the delivery crew plenty of room to drop the building and keeps the edges from washing out over time.
Where we were this week:
Big Fork: 12x18 pad (plus did some rough grading to fix a neighbor's drainage while we were there)
Cushing: 10x14 pad
Detroit Lakes: 14x18 pad
Foley: 12x22 pad (and cleaned up the access path before heading home)

It was a busy week getting five new shed pads prepped and leveled before the rain caught up with us on Friday.

Every pad we put down is built a total of 2 feet larger than the building size (1 foot on each side) to make sure there is plenty of room for a clean, stable delivery.

Where we were this week:
Battle Lake: 14x22 pad
Alexandria: 10x14 and 12x20 pads
South Metro: Two matching 14x22 pads

Wrapped up Thursday and Friday with a couple of quick gravel projects: a parking pad for a trailer and a 14x22 shed pad.

Travis also sent over a few photos of sheds he just set on my recent pads. I always appreciate the delivery drivers sharing these when the setup goes smooth.

Spent the first of the week in Glenwood getting this 40x60 pad ready for a pole building.
The low end needed a lot of work to get up to grade, so Monday through Wednesday was spent hauling and keeping the packer busy. It’s solid, level, and ready for the building crew to take over.

5 more shed pads completed this week. Started in Eden Prairie and Waconia, then 3 days in Fergus Falls.
