New River Engineering, PLLC New River Engineering, PLLC was incorporated in the summer of 2007 as a general civil engineering consulting firm specializing water resources engineering.

New River Engineering's objective has always been and will always be customer service. We will strive to ensure projects stay on time and on budget. We will also tell you the truth. We will communicate to our clients our opinions concerning projects - both good and bad, at the risk of loosing a proposal. "It is better to loose a proposal and gain a trusted relationship than to win a proposal at the cost of becoming 'another consultant'."

2017 was a good year with projects throughout North and South Carolina. The mine pit flood study in SC was interesting! Heading to Boone next week to survey a project and to collect geomorphology information in the Middle Fork New River!

So, six hours for travel today...two hours meeting with the NC Department of Transportation and the NC Floodplain Management Program, we should be able to move forward with the Middlefork Greenway Project.
