‼ MAXSTEEL FAQ: Do metal buildings need to be installed on a concrete pad?

Many of our building types DO NOT need to be installed on a concrete pad, but it depends on the building size, features, location and your specific needs. Depending on your area, smaller, lighter buildings (such as carports) can be installed on leveled land, concrete slab, asphalt, or wood.

However, cannot be installed on wood foundations & commercial structures MUST be installed on a concrete pad.

The site base depends on the building size, features, location, and the customer’s specific needs. Most buildings can be installed on concrete, gravel, leveled land or asphalt. No certified structure can be installed on wood of any kind.
