I was so honored to be asked back to the Greater Latrobe 4th of July Celebration for nonprofit management and coordination of the big event. We served over 25,000 people last year with free fun for all and I can’t wait to do it again this year. Hope to see you there!

Today is World Theatre Day and a perfect time to highlight the power and impact of theatre. My experience with it is one of the reasons I am able to do what I do to help the helpers.

Being involved with theatre as a high school student not only helped with mental wellness but it has lent so much to me as a professional; the development of important skills from public speaking to inspiring creativity and to expect the unexpected. I’ve been lucky to come back to performing as an adult which means I get to continue to learn and grow 🎭

Please support your local arts organizations! I’m especially thankful for The Theatre Factory, Greensburg Civic Theatre, and Split Stage Productions.

Although the holidays are over, I had to spotlight a very special SPARK Experience that literally came to life thanks to The Lamp Theatre. White Christmas Comes Alive sparkled with holiday cheer and special moments as the beloved classic came out of the screen and into the sold-out crowd. Thank you to everyone who came making this very important fundraiser for The Lamp a huge success.

Also, a big salute to Westinghouse Arts Academy for all of the talented performers and the teachers who made it happen, as well as Pittsburgh Performance Photography for capturing it all. And as always, our amazing team of volunteers.

I truly believe in the transformative power of this class for nonprofit organizations and my goal in 2025 is to make it available for download.

The warm and fuzzies…that’s what it’s all about.
When we bought our house two years ago, Shannon Koch, Realtor gifted us a few things, but it’s this book that really stood out. With two young children, moving can be scary, and I’ll never forget the way this book made all of us feel. Living in a house with two young children means I spend life begrudgingly picking up random things all over the house and my frustration immediately turned into the warm and fuzzies when picking up this book yesterday. AND I thought of Shannon and her services.

Where is SPARK at today? At Norwin Public Library doing some research for a library client. This little sloth guy is teaching me how to meditate at their youth listening station and it’s so neat! 🦥
