This month brings together two things close to my heart: Mental Health Awareness Month 💚and National Small Business Week 🛍️. Through my volunteer work with Make It Ok; Muscatine and NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley, I’m committed to helping reduce stigma and create space for honest conversations. And through Busy B Organizing, I get to serve this community in a hands‑on, personal way every day.

Small businesses are built on people — their stories, their struggles, their wins, and their well-being. I’m proud to stand with our community this month as we support mental health, support each other, and support the local businesses that keep Muscatine strong.

You’re not alone. And it’s always OK to talk about mental health 🧠.
