Hello Community and Friends! As of late I have realize that what I would really like to do is provide quality candles and at much lower price to people, if not for free at times.

Why?

Before starting this company I was working with a nationwide crisis response center, we worked with mental health providers to support people following work related trauma issue....this could be anything from natural disasters impacting people, to a naturally caused passing, etc. . .For me, this was an eye opening experience that left me realizing we are all made of the same stuff, and we all have very similar needs when it comes to happiness and success.

I believe it goes without saying, but so many more people recently have been struggling finically, mentally, and at times, putting food on the table has become a challenge for many. . . while giving a candle may not help with every problem - receiving a gift from a loved one or someone random, will help.

SOOO....Moving forward, B's WaxWorks will be looking at ways to bring money and happiness into Muskegon's community, which has been pivotal to the U.S. since the lumber trade and colonization of America first began.

If you have any advice or may be able to assist in the transition to a Non-profit organization, please reach out with any advice or helpful information.

I am hoping with enough support and planning I will be able to take out a small business loan, Rent a reasonable space here in Muskegon, Michigan - and hire on a team of people from the community to help with production, accounting, business management, and logistics.

This is a process that I WILL need help with - from planning to finalization. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Why Palmh**p Wax?

When I first started making candles I was using parrafin wax, and when researching found where and why Parrafin started being used for candles.

Intially this patrolium product (parrafin) was discovered in 1850 as an extract from coal. Quickly becoming a replacement for tallow candles, which did not burn as clean as parrafin.

In recent year it has been claimed that even though parrafin burns cleaner than tallow, it isnt free of carcinogens...and it certainly requires a finite resource.

With B's Waxworks, we use palm wax mixed in with an organic h**p oil. The palm wax is extracted from the palm fruit (not killing the tree, and free of the carcinogens found from burning fossil fuels / chemical products)

The mixing of the h**p oil assures that your candle will burn longer...when you are looking at your old candles and looking to get new candles, notice the soot in your jar - is it from you wick, wax, or fragrence?
