Still time to donate rounds!

🎉 ONE MILLION DOLLARS raised for turfgrass research.

The Carolinas GCSA has officially broken through the $1 million mark in support of turfgrass research through the Rounds 4 Research online auction.

What started right here in the Carolinas during the Great Recession has grown into a national movement — now raising nearly $5 million across the country.

Recent pledges of $100,000 each to Clemson and NC State will help create endowed, golf-specific research faculty positions at both universities.

"Instead of complaining, we committed to be part of the solution." – Tim Kreger, Carolinas GCSA Executive Director

🔔 The auction opens THIS MONDAY, April 20, and runs through April 26 — but there's still time to get involved BEFORE it starts! If your facility hasn't donated a tee time yet, reach out now so your contribution is included in this year's auction.
Every tee time counts. Let's keep this momentum going

❄️ Snow Storm Prep & The Aftermath ❄️
Snow in the Carolinas always keeps us on our toes. From winterizing irrigation and equipment, staging covers and tarps, protecting sensitive turf, to coordinating crews around travel and safety — preparation makes all the difference.
Now comes the aftermath: assessing turf damage, managing saturated soils, watching for crown hydration injury, and figuring out what Mother Nature gave us (or took away). Patience, timing, and smart decisions are key this time of year.
Curious to hear from the group: • What prep steps paid off the most for you?
• Any surprises after the snow melted?
• What recovery practices are you focusing on right now?
Stay safe, stay warm, and keep leaning on each other — that’s what this association is all about. 💪🌱
