Another wonderful evening with our APWS women!

We enjoyed delicious potluck dishes, games, prizes, laughter, and great conversations. Hearing our members’ stories and journeys was truly inspiring and reminded us how special this community is.

With a diverse entrepreneurial background spanning healthcare, real estate, and technology, 𝐏𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐚 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐗𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐠 builds businesses focused on strategic growth, community impact, and empowering others.

For over 15 years, she owned and operated a health-focused adult day care center, leading operations while providing compassionate, high-quality care. Today, she is an active real estate investor and sales professional with experience in fix-and-flip projects and managing short-term, long-term, and sober living properties.

Pafoua also owns an Identity and Access Management (IAM) career placement company, connecting skilled cybersecurity professionals with organizations seeking specialized talent.

Across every venture, her focus remains the same: identifying opportunities, building strong operations, and creating environments where people and businesses can thrive.

Cheri brings a wonderful blend of professional experience, cultural perspective, and community connection to APWS. She is a 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐎𝐑®, 𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐒, 𝐔𝐒𝐂™ 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐊𝐖 𝐍𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲, serving our Southwest Florida community while building meaningful relationships across cultures and communities.

With her Filipino-Canadian and Filipino-American heritage, Cheri beautifully represents the multicultural spirit at the heart of APWS. Her experience, leadership, and passion for connecting people will be especially valuable as she helps us strengthen strategic alliances, cultivate meaningful partnerships, and expand APWS’s presence throughout Southwest Florida.

APWS — Asian Professional Women Society — is building a powerful circle of women across Southwest Florida.

We are professionals. Entrepreneurs. Business owners. Leaders. Mentors. Mothers. Creators. Community builders.

We come from different Asian cultures, industries, generations, and experiences—but we share one purpose:

To empower one another to lead, grow, connect, and make an impact.

At APWS, networking is only the beginning.

What a huge success for our APWS event last night! We were thrilled to welcome 43 attendees from different professions and counties across Southwest Florida—far beyond what we expected.

I cannot thank our co-founders, committee members, and members enough for putting their hearts, time, and effort into making this event possible. Despite the pouring rain, guests traveled from Fort Myers, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Naples, and surrounding areas to come together and support APWS.

This incredible turnout shows the strength of our growing community. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make the evening so memorable.

✨ What an incredible APWS gathering! ✨

40+ amazing people. 🌏 Women representing 10+ countries. New members. New friendships. New business connections. And so much positive energy in one room! ❤️

Today marked a special milestone for APWS — our first-ever restaurant event, and what an amazing turnout! We were so excited to welcome many new members into our growing community. 🥂

🎁 We also celebrated 13 prize winners with prizes including $50 gift cards, free meal vouchers, skincare products, bracelets, and more!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our generous sponsors who contributed prizes and helped make today extra special. Thank you to everyone who planned, organized, supported, and joined us. And a special shoutout to our restaurant host, Chinatown, for welcoming APWS and allowing us to gather in their space.

But what made today truly meaningful wasn’t just the prizes or the turnout, it was the connections.

Business connections became conversations.
Strangers became friends.
And our community became a little stronger.

That’s what APWS is about: supporting one another, empowering women, supporting businesses, creating friendships, making meaningful connections, and building a strong community together.
