The marketplace doesn't automatically reward expertise.
It rewards expertise that is understood.

We've recently watched a client transition from highly respected to highly sought after.

The expertise was already there.
The credentials were already there.
The experience was already there.

What changed was positioning, visibility, and strategic alignment.

Too many businesses assume their growth challenge is operational.

In reality, the issue is often market perception.
If prospective clients don't fully understand your value, they can't fully appreciate it.

That's where strategic positioning matters.

At TEMA, we help businesses clarify their message, strengthen their market position, and create sustainable growth.

Helping good businesses become impossible to ignore.

Outthink. Outwork. Outgrow.

Ready to explore what's possible?

Let's talk.

If you're building a speaking career, be careful not to ask the wrong question.

When an opportunity comes along, especially one with a limited budget, many speakers immediately ask:

"What's the fee?"

I've learned that the better question is:

"What might this opportunity become?"

A speaking engagement can create far more than a speaking fee.

It can create:

• Referrals

• Introductions

• Strategic partnerships

• Media exposure

• New clients

• Future speaking engagements

• Long-term business opportunities

That's the thinking behind my new guide:

Three insights we took away from attending the Lancaster Chamber's 154th Annual Dinner with keynote speaker Malcolm Gladwell.

Trust is earned through consistency, not claims.
Values matter more than most organizations realize.
People support businesses they understand.

Many organizations spend significant time talking about products, services, pricing, and features.

Far fewer spend time communicating what they stand for and why it matters.

Yet those are often the factors that create trust, loyalty, referrals, and long-term relationships.

In today's marketplace, clarity may be one of the most undervalued growth strategies available.

Can your customers clearly explain what your business stands for?

If not, that may be your biggest opportunity.

AI is rapidly changing business forever.
But speed alone is no longer enough.

As automation becomes accessible to everyone, many businesses are unintentionally creating the same experience:
Same messaging.
Same marketing.
Same customer journey.
Same positioning.

The result?

Efficiency increases.
Differentiation disappears.

The businesses that will dominate moving forward are the ones that protect:
human connection
emotional resonance
brand identity
customer experience
trust
imagination
meaningful engagement

AI should strengthen your business.
Not strip away the very things that make people choose you.

Technology can improve systems.
But systems alone do not build loyalty.

People still remember how you made them feel.
That matters now more than ever.

If your business is trying to navigate the balance between AI, automation, customer experience, and long-term differentiation, let’s have a conversation.

The old business playbook is dead. The future belongs to businesses that adapt fast and build trust even faster.

Here are the 5 moves that matter most going forward:

1. Move Faster: Stop waiting for perfect.

2. Build Trust Aggressively: People buy from businesses they believe in.

3. Own Your Audience: If you don’t own the relationship, you don’t own the future.

4. Use AI Intelligently: Use it to remove low-value work and create more time for growth and relationships.

5. Stay Human: Technology changes. Human behavior doesn’t.

The businesses that win moving forward won’t necessarily be the biggest.

They’ll be the fastest to adapt and the hardest to ignore.

If you want help positioning your business for what’s next, let’s have a conversation.

At Third Eye Management & Associates, we believe leadership should extend beyond business and into meaningful community impact.

That’s why we are proud to recognize Jennifer M. Dages, founder of JM Litigation Support Services, LLC (JMLS), on her appointment to the Board of Directors of I AM FUSE.

I AM F.U.S.E. is a survivor-led nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting human trafficking and exploitation through prevention education, trauma-informed support, restoration initiatives, and survivor empowerment.

Jenn’s appointment reflects both her professional expertise and her personal commitment to advocacy, structure, support, and helping individuals navigate complex and often emotionally difficult situations.

We congratulate Jenn on this important role and commend the entire I AM F.U.S.E. organization for the work they are doing to create real and lasting impact.

One thing we’ve learned at TEMA through years of international business experience: People don’t buy the same way everywhere.

Different cultures communicate differently.
Build trust differently.
Negotiate differently.
Make decisions differently.

And yet many businesses still approach international opportunities assuming everyone thinks exactly the way they do.

That assumption costs deals.

The reality is this:
The deal is rarely about the deal.
It’s about understanding people.

Some cultures move quickly.
Others take time.

Some want numbers first.
Others want relationship first.

Some value directness.
Others value subtlety, patience, and trust built over time.

You can have the best product, best pricing, and best presentation in the market and still lose because you failed to understand the environment you walked into.

Business is behavioral.

The companies that succeed internationally are usually the ones willing to:
• Listen before they pitch
• Observe before they assume
• Respect culture before pushing process
• Build trust before pushing the close

The product may start the conversation.

But understanding people is what closes the deal.

If your business is serious about international growth, market expansion, cross-cultural communication, or global relationship building, TEMA would be happy to help.

5 Things We’ve Learned After 5 Decades in Business

After nearly 50 years of real-world business experience across multiple industries, one thing has become crystal clear:

Growth rarely comes from doing more.
It comes from doing the right things better.

Here are five lessons that consistently separate strong businesses from struggling ones:

1. Ex*****on beats intention.
Ideas are common. Consistent ex*****on is rare.

2. Customer experience is not a department.
It’s the business.

3. Visibility creates opportunity.
If people don’t know you exist, nothing else matters.

4. Systems create scale.
Chaos limits growth.

5. Trust is the ultimate competitive advantage.
In a noisy marketplace, credibility wins.

Markets evolve.
Technology changes.
Consumer habits shift.

But businesses built on trust, clarity, discipline, and human connection continue to outperform.

The fundamentals still matter.

What lesson has shaped the way you approach business today?

TIME has named Ralph Lauren to the 2026 TIME100 list, recognizing the world’s most influential people.

Few individuals have shaped brand identity, aspiration, lifestyle marketing, and retail theater at the level Ralph Lauren has achieved over the past six decades.

In our opinion, he is one of the greatest examples of long-term brand building ever created.

Ralph Lauren did not build a clothing company.
He built an emotional ecosystem.

Every touchpoint, store, campaign, product, environment, and visual cue reinforced a consistent world people wanted to belong to.

That level of clarity and discipline is rare.

There is a powerful lesson here for every business owner:
Strong brands sell products.
Great brands create identity and belonging.

Business networking works best when people stop trying to blend in.

The Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce Business Expo delivered many great conversations, but Johnny Roberts from Ephrata Performing Arts Center may have stolen the entire show.

A reminder that visibility matters.
Energy matters.
Memorability matters.

People rarely remember the safest person in the room.
They remember the one willing to create an experience.

Excellent event with a strong turnout from the local business community.
