The company that fuels and hangars aircraft at more than 100 airports across the country just got a new owner, and a valuation to match.
Atlantic Aviation is now worth nearly $10 billion, more than double the $4.5 billion price tag it carried in 2021. Apollo has bought in alongside KKR, the firm that already owned Atlantic, in a deal built to keep both investors on board rather than a clean handoff. Atlantic serves everything from small owner-flown planes to large corporate jets, and this kind of valuation jump says a lot about how much confidence big money has in the future of aviation infrastructure.
