Everyone wants to know how to lead in the age of AI, and here's what I believe...

The future doesn't belong to the people with the best AI tools.

It belongs to the people who never stop learning.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned from leaders like John C. Maxwell and Ryan Leak is that leadership is never a destination—it's a lifelong commitment to growth.

AI will continue to change how we work, but it will never replace wisdom, character, curiosity, or the ability to inspire another human being.

Those are the skills I'm investing in and helping organizations develop alongside AI.

Because I believe the future isn't human OR AI. It's leaders who know how to bring out the best in both.

with AI?

He already showed us.

He stepped into a broken world, saw it clearly, and didn’t turn away.

He carried it.
He felt it.
He chose love anyway.

All the way to the cross.

And three days later…He proved that even the darkest things don’t get the final word.

That redemption is possible. That broken things can be made new. That mercy wins.

AI is going to keep evolving, reflecting both the best of us and the worst of us.

But Easter reminds us what we do with that matters.

We don’t just mirror what’s broken.
We redeem it.

We don’t just point out what’s wrong.
We bring something better.

How we lead.
How we love.
How we respond when things aren’t perfect.

That’s still the standard.

I think about the day in between.

The quiet after the cross.
Before the resurrection.

No answers.
No noise.
Just stillness.

And I think… He would be a peacemaker in that kind of space.

Not rushing to react.
Not adding to the noise.
Not saying something just to say it.

“Blessed are the peacemakers.” — Matthew 5:9

We’re living in a world where everything is louder, faster, and constantly demanding a response.

And AI can amplify that.
It can make us quicker to speak, quicker to react, quicker to fill every silence.

But it also gives us another option.

To slow down.
To pause.
To choose peace over urgency.

“Come to me… and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Just because we can move faster doesn’t mean we have to.

Maybe the real opportunity isn’t just productivity.

Maybe it’s margin. Maybe it's calm. Maybe it's rest.

with AI?

Today is Good Friday.

The day Jesus was beaten, mocked, and nailed to a cross.

The day humanity showed its worst—
and He chose mercy anyway.

He didn’t defend Himself.
He didn’t retaliate.
He didn’t walk away.

He stayed.

And in the middle of unimaginable pain, He said:

“Father, forgive them…” — Luke 23:34

That kind of mercy doesn’t make sense. It’s not natural. It’s divine.

And I can’t help but think about that when it comes to AI.

Because if AI is a mirror, it’s going to reflect everything about humanity —
the beauty and the brokenness.

And we’re already seeing both.

But Good Friday reminds us what we do when we’re faced with brokenness.

We don’t match it.
We don’t magnify it.

We meet it with mercy.

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” — Luke 6:36

Not because it’s easy.
Not because it’s deserved.

But because that’s what He did for us.

I think He would use it to help people.

To solve real problems.
To reach people who have been overlooked.
To bring light into places that feel heavy or stuck.

AI has the potential to do so much, but I think what matters most is who it helps. Who it heals. Who it empowers.

I know He wouldn't look the other way.

I think He would call out what’s harmful, even when it’s uncomfortable.

AI isn’t neutral in how it’s being used. It can amplify good, but it can also amplify addiction, exploitation, and behaviors we know aren’t leading us anywhere good.

“I will set before my eyes no vile thing.” — Psalm 101:3

Technology doesn’t remove responsibility. In fact, it required more of it.

So, the question we should be asking isn't what’s possible, but what’s right?

I think He would use it to love people better.

Not instead of people, but in a way that helps us show up more fully for them.

To listen more carefully.
To respond more thoughtfully.
To have more capacity for the people right in front of us.

“Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Mark 12:31

If AI gives you more time, more clarity, more margin, then the goal isn’t just to get more done.

It should be to be more present.

I think he’d help remind us what it really is: A mirror.

Because AI doesn’t actually create anything new. It reflects what we give it. Our thoughts, our patterns, our biases, our brilliance.

Especially our human brokenness.

“Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but fail to notice the beam in your own?” — Matthew 7:3

Before we rush to fix AI, we might need to sit with what it’s revealing about us.

The real question isn’t just what is AI becoming?

It’s what we are and who are we willing to be?

As we head into Easter season, I've been thinking a lot about what Jesus would do…
..with AI.

I don’t think He would ignore it or be afraid of it. In fact, I believe He would choose to steward it.

AI is one of the most powerful tools we’ve ever been given, and throughout history, anything powerful has always required responsibility.

Not fear. Not hype.
Responsibility.

To paraphrase Esther 4:14, perhaps you and I were made for such a time as this.

I don't think we were randomly placed here just to witness this technological moment in history.

I think we were specifically chosen for it. We were trusted with it.

That means AI won’t decide what happens next, we will. Humans will.

But we have a responsibility to decide wisely.

About a year and a half ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to be mentored by John C. Maxwell.

I had to work for it (trust me!), but something told me I needed to be in the room.

I belonged in that room.

I was still so new to running a business and diving head first into all things AI. The world was forcing me to redefine everything I had ever learned about leadership and I knew that if I was going to lead in this new era, especially as a Christian woman in a male-dominated space, I needed to learn from one of the best.

I spent last week at the International Maxwell Leadership Conference in Dallas and was reminded of the biggest lesson I’ve taken away on this incredible journey:

When you step into rooms like the one I so badly fought to be in, you realize pretty quickly what actually sticks with you.

It’s not who had the biggest platform or who sounded the smartest. And it's not even who had the most money or the highest title.

It’s the stories that break your heart.
The people who made you feel something.
The ones who took time to connect.
The ones who remind you that you matter.

This whole time I thought I was on a mission to be a good steward of technology, but God reminded me last week that my mission all along was to be a good steward of people.

If people aren’t first, the mission doesn’t matter.

So here’s to loving them, serving them, and trusting our ultimate leader with the rest. 🥰
