Today I’m reflecting on web design and CRM integration.
There’s always a choice between heavy developer customization or standardized, modular tools.
A custom-heavy approach can give you a lot of control, but it often means more maintenance and potential for breakage if things shift. Builders and native integrations simplify things, even if they’re a bit less flexible. In the end, it depends on how much complexity you want to wrangle, or avoid. This will also depend on the type of staff you want to employ or contract out, which world result in your overall budget for marketing.
As AI becomes part of our workflows, standardization offers efficiency, lower maintenance, and smoother automation. Building systems that grow seamlessly is key.
These are important subjects to think about as you’re building your marketing strategy. if you are in the process of change or implementing AI, I wonder how others are balancing custom builds vs. future-proof flexibility. I’m open for discussions on this post, not a DM.
