I don’t have a lot of margin in my day. Most evenings I’m running on empty by 6pm.

And somehow this is the most consistent I’ve been with my own recovery in years.

What actually changed:
👉🏻 I stopped treating rest like a reward and started scheduling it like a meeting
👉🏻 The combination of heat and cold does something to my nervous system that an hour on the couch never could
👉🏻 I stopped scrolling to decompress and started doing something that actually moves the needle

The podcast plays, the heat builds, and for once my brain actually quiets.

This is what getting back on track looks like for me. Not perfect. Just consistent.

If you’re curious what a session actually feels like, comment SAUNA and I’ll send you the details.

I only worked 10 hours last week and it was hard AF.

Not because the week itself was “rough”. The week was actually full of so many fun, exciting things… the exact stuff I built this business for.

My son had Pre-K graduation 🥹
Both kids had end of year parties.
We had ISR refreshers so it was “early” pickups from school.
My parents were in town.

Real, slow, beautiful pockets of life.

But 10 hours wasn’t enough time to get what I needed to done. And I’m not going to pretend it was.

After years of running this business through every kind of season, from life before kids to pregnancy to postpartum (twice) to limited childcare with a part time nanny to full time childcare… ultimately, in THIS season, 20 hours is the minimum I need to show up well for my clients, my content, my team, and myself. Below that, I’m not at my best and some things just don’t get done.

The dream of the flexible business IS real. I’m living proof. But it’s not 10 hour weeks on repeat. Or living off of only passive income. It’s the freedom to HAVE a 10 hour week when life calls for it, knowing the other weeks will make up for it.

I won’t sell you a version of this that isn’t true.

Real businesses take real work. Consistently. The flexibility is the reward for building something strong, not a shortcut to skip the building. 👀 Something I think people forget these days.

Swipe through for the honest version. And if you’re ready to build something that holds up around your actual life, send me the word REAL in the DMs.

Motherhood in every chapter has broken me wide open.

First as a bonus mom — the joy of holding such a special role and doing all I could to be a good stepmom. I have so much respect and love and silent understanding of every stepmom out there. I see you. ❤️ it’s beautiful and hard in ways no one else can comprehend.

Then, as I birthed my own babies. Phew 😮‍💨 what a beautiful ride it’s been. It’s lived up to every single dream I’ve had as a child AND so much more.

I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat to love these three kids. My heart and soul and life’s purpose is to be a mother. Everything else is just a huge bonus that I’m so grateful I get to experience alongside it all 💕

Mamas we get to have it all, we really do 🥹

Especially in this day and age, people are really over complicating things… I like to bring things back to the basics and simplify things in every area of business and this is a tried and true strategy through the generations.

I think for a while there are people got caught up in the flashing marketing, and the numbers and now people have learned to see right through it.

While I know it’s technically “better for your brand” to show up on video with your hair and makeup done, I’m not afraid to show up like this. Ultimately, I’m the same person on the other side of the phone or the computer in my sweatshirt with no makeup on as I am dolled up.

I’m a mom who runs multiple businesses. I am a chaos coordinator. I also love people hard. I see them. I help them. I’m a LEO. I’m an eldest daughter. I’m passionate and I fix people’s s**t. Why? Because I care. Comment Chat or better yet send me a voice message ramble about your business and life so I can learn more about YOU. 😘

Nobody trained me to be a business coach.

Life just did it first.

Growing up as the eldest daughter isn’t just a birth order, it’s a whole leadership curriculum nobody gave you credit for.

Save this for the next time someone asks why you’re so good at what you do.

Share it with an eldest daughter who needs to hear this.

I didn’t go to school for business coaching. I spent 8 years inside other people’s businesses figuring out what actually makes them work — and what quietly breaks them.

So when my client renewed for another 6 months and called me her underwire bra, I knew exactly what she meant.

It may be the most accurate comparison I’ve heard 😂.

Because here’s what I’ve learned: most people aren’t failing because they lack motivation or ideas. They’re failing because they don’t have the right structure holding everything up while they build.

That’s what I do.

- I help you build systems that run without you in every single conversation
- I find the gaps you’ve been too close to see
- I give you a real plan instead of a running list of things you’ll get to “someday”
- I tell you the truth, even when it’s the thing you didn’t want to hear

You don’t have to be at a certain revenue number to work with me. You just have to be serious about what you’re building and done doing it alone.

If that’s you, DM me the word **SUPPORT** and I’ll send you everything you need to know about 1:1 coaching.

I didn’t always plan to become a business coach.
But growing up as the eldest daughter accidentally trained me for exactly this. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The perfectionism. The over-preparing. The over-delivering and still feeling like it wasn’t enough.

The fixer mentality, someone had a problem, I solved it. No waiting, no asking for help. Just figure it out and get it done.

I thought those were just personality traits. Turns out they’re the exact skills that make a great coach.

High standards = I can walk into your business and see immediately what’s not working.

Fixer wiring = pattern recognition, diagnostic thinking, actually solving the problem, not just talking about it.

Self-reliance = I know what it takes because I’ve lived it.
I had the experience and the skillset.

What I didn’t realize was that I’d been training for this my entire life.

If any of this resonates, share this with another eldest daughter who needs to hear it.
