Good morning, SCC Family,
If you'd like to be part of my email distribution, you can send an email to [email protected] to stay in the know.
That time of year has arrived. You should have already received your Medicare & You 2027 handbook in the mail. If you're like me and prefer to be paperless, you can download a digital copy from Medicare.gov/go-digital.
If you are currently enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan, you will receive your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC), Evidence of Coverage (EOC), and your formulary in the mail.
Let's break down these various documents.
📄 Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)
The ANOC highlights significant changes to your plan for the upcoming year. Please review this document carefully. Your benefits, premiums, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, provider networks, or covered services could change for 2027.
📘 Evidence of Coverage (EOC)
The EOC provides detailed information about the services and benefits your Medicare Advantage plan will cover in 2027. It’s important to review this document because your coverage and cost-sharing may change from the current year.
💊 Formulary
The formulary is your plan’s list of covered prescription drugs. A comprehensive formulary will outline covered medications, cost-sharing, and any utilization management (UM) requirements.
UM requirements are rules you may need to meet before your plan will cover certain medications, such as prior authorization, step therapy, or quantity limits.
This is the best time to contact me to schedule a health assessment. We will review your current health needs and any questions or concerns you may have about your current coverage and coverage for 2027.
Visit seniorchoiceconsulting.com today to schedule your health assessment.
Enrollment starts October 15th and ends December 7th.
