Last week, I received a message from a former client that started with six words:

“I think my website has been hacked.”

😬 As I looked into it, I found:
• No recent backup
• Outdated plugins

It was a difficult reminder of something I talk about often:

Website care isn't about expecting something to go wrong.
It's about being prepared when it does.

I have so much respect for business owners who have built or managed their own websites.
