DDG has had the privilege of mentoring young creatives by teaching, guiding, and assisting them in launching their careers. Uplifting and supporting others is central to DDG's core values of service.

I just want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped shape this concept and continues to build it with us.
A huge gratitude goes to our supporting cast for being good kids first and foremost.

Strong communities begin with bold design.

Professors Allan Manzano and Nadia Nunez from SDSU’s Art + Design program partnered with students to reimagine the future of PASACAT—a historic cultural organization rooted in one of San Diego’s oldest neighborhoods.

Shoutout to our outstanding students who listened problem-solved and crafted a visionary path forward. Their work lights the way for what PASACAT can become.

We’re excited to celebrate this year’s San Diego Police Foundation Honorees, Officer Martha Carranza, Officer Torri Albini, and Officer Brigitta Belz, for their hard work, courage, and leadership in keeping our community safe and strong daily. They remind us of the power of service, compassion, and unity. Join us in honoring these amazing women at the 2025 Honorees Celebration—a night of recognition, connection, and community pride.

Dynamo Design Group has proudly partnered with SDPF over the past year, helping them enhance their visual identity. The foundation’s signature event, the annual luncheon, celebrates the achievements of female leaders in public safety, highlighting women excelling in a traditionally male-dominated field.

The event brings together SDPD leadership, community leaders, educators, media, and San Diego’s Promise Zone students, creating a space for diversity, inclusion, and empowerment.

A huge shoutout and congrats to Lina, our new junior graphic designer and intern! We’re beyond excited to have her at DDG, ready to spread her wings, take risks, and dive into the creative process.

Lina is seriously talented—she loves traveling, her dogs, her family, live shows, and music. She brings her life experiences into her designs, using them to give others a voice. Whether through her travels, the people she meets, or conversations with family, her unique perspective shines in everything she creates.

P.S. Don’t miss out on her incredible work—check it out at www.linamakesnoise.com.

Let’s show her some love and give Lina a big high-five DDG welcome!

Look at the typeface project by Allan Manzano’s design students at SDSU. This project explores the collaboration between two students, focusing on understanding each other’s characteristics and personalities through typography and the human-centric aspect of design.

If you want to learn about this intersection, consider enrolling in his class at SDSU’s Art and Design Department.

Check out one of the fastest-growing dopest coffee spots in the community, Mixed Grounds, just launched their latest coffee packaged in these custom bags designed by DDG!

The concept? Bold. Iconic. Instantly recognizable. Inspired by graffiti culture, we tapped into the legendary “Hello, my name is” tag a staple in street art known for its simplicity, accessibility, and deep roots in tagging culture.
If you know, you know, now you know!

Community first—that’s the value our families instilled in us as a minority-owned agency, and it’s what drives our work every day. Let’s continue working together to uplift our community.

As a business owner at Dynamo Design Group, I know success isn’t built alone—it’s shaped by mentors, collaborators, and the community around us. We’ve had many mentors along the way, but none more memorable than the ones right next door—friends and homies from the neighborhood.
Ron, Romali, Junior, and I grew up in Paradise Hills, influenced by the same culture, experiences, and creative mindset. Years later, we’re still connected, but as professionals, we push each other to create and inspire in old, but new ways.
Recently, they brought an incredible piece of art back to life in Paradise Hills, and I was honored to be part of the process and watch it unfold. Anyone who knows DDG understands how much the South Bay and the people who shaped us mean to us.
And if you want to know the why? KPBS did a feature on it. So please check it out.

When we presented the conceptual model for FABRIK, a San Diego Design Week poster initiative, we received some curious looks but initially struggled to find contributors. Thankfully, a handful of unique individuals stepped up in meaningful ways—giving their time and sharing their thoughts through design.

One standout contributor is Jason Knight, a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, and Fine Artist from the First Generation of Guyanese Americans. Jason is incredibly talented and brings a fresh perspective to the intersection of digital and physical mediums. Check out his work at www.jasonknight.xyz.

Jason, we see you and look forward to connecting live someday. Your work, which speaks volumes, is a clear inspiration to us all. Your unique voice and vision shine through, and we are grateful for your participation in this community project!
