Avoid a costly LCD replacement for your laptop- handling is key! Always open and close your laptop screen by the center near the latches. Handling the screen by the corners puts undue stress on the plastics and eventually you will end up with a broken glass. With most screens averaging around the $100 mark, + labor I must add...this is a very pricey repair that most people simply cannot justify.
