Pathways to Leadership | Week 2 is in the books! 🔥

We talked about community health and safety.

Fire Chief Lozano helped participants gear up for learning before hearing from a great panel on the safety and long-term planning of our community.

We also heard from Genifer Rucker, the CEO of Resolute Baptist Hospital in town and Jim Wesson, who talked about Volunteers in Medicine a program for the uninsured in our community.

Despite varying perspectives on the growth we’re feeling, we are so blessed to have leaders who have the foresight and innovation to see the growing demands of our city and plan for it. It was a great night — thank you to everyone who shared and participated!

Also, a shoutout to Willie's Grill & Icehouse for dinner!

It’s hard to believe LEAPS is just over ONE week away!

I’m so excited to join an incredible line-up of learning and development professionals, coaches, and consultants for a full day of learning!

The first time I attended an ATD San Antonio meeting, I instantly knew the caliber of people in that room were the ones I wanted helping shape me as a leader and consultant. I haven’t regretted it once. That makes the honor of speaking this year an incredible gift!

Last I heard, there are still a few tickets available. You can learn more:

We kicked off the inaugural Pathways to Leadership program with the NB Chamber last night!

Last night was the first of six meetings where community members get to hear from local leadership, ask questions, and find resources to help them discover their unique pathway of community involvement.

Last night we heard from city, county, and state representatives who shared about their pathways of service — and we had a little competitive fun in the process.

Shoutout to:
Carrie Isaac for sharing her vision for the future of Texas
Chris Snider for leading with encouragement and wisdom
Judge Kristen Hoyt and Mayor Pro Tem, Mike Capizzi for the endless ways you selflessly serve and build our community
And finally, UBP Burgers for a delicious dinner!

And, of course, this wouldn’t be possible with the vision and support of the New Braunfels Chamber and the 50 community members who registered and showed up to learn and grow together!

I have the incredible privilege of hosting and cannot wait to see what the next five weeks hold! Let’s go!!

Wow!! What a fabulous day at the annual Women’s Business Alliance Conference!

These ladies meant business and packed out the room as we talked about rising with emboldened courage to live a life of impact.

Thank you to all who came to show support and to those who shared how encouraged they felt by our time together! You all are amazing!

One sweet lady found me at the after hours event and shared how impactful she found the session on her trip to Texas, she also mentioned she had seen Mel Robbins the day before. Not entirely a comparison, but a compliment I won’t soon forget.

As always, I’m looking forward to next year’s conference. Until then, ladies, we rise up more emboldened together!

It’s here! I’ve been waiting for this day for months and I’m so excited to share with the women of New Braunfels about why fear tries to keep us playing it small (there’s actually a science behind it) and how to rise with Emboldened courage and purpose!!

See you there, ladies!!

Who has the most accurate pulse on your organization? Are you solving for the right problems?

Mindy and I talked all things organizational health and culture, including this incredible story about Disney.

How do we get the "snake off our heads?"

Mindy shared so many incredible insights on the podcast this week, but trust is built through care, intentionality, and relationship. One of our greatest roles as leaders is understanding who our people are and how best to lead them and our missions.

⭐️ Why did you choose your job?
⭐️ What's your calling?
⭐️ What's keeping you from living into your calling?

When we're living outside of our calling, it can create burnout. Mindy and I unpack this topic further on this week's episode of The Emboldened Entrepreneur podcast.
