FORE! Watch out.. EWOCs are on the course!

Yesterday, the Enterprising Women of Color Business Center partnered with SisterGolf (a certified WBE) to host the "Leveraging Golf for Business Success" workshop in Birmingham, Alabama. The event hosted over 25 founders and corporate leaders who engaged in networking, shared their business successes, and learned the fundamentals of golf.

Participants explored topics such as WBE certification, valuable business resources, and strategies to cultivate professional relationships beyond the office.

A special thanks to SisterGolf and our Alabama partners for a fantastic PAR-TEE on the course!

Merci Montréal et nos partenaires CAMSC!

The Enterprising Women of Color (EWOC) Business Program held its second Trade Business Trip in Montreal in June 2023. This exciting event brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs and business leaders, aiming to foster growth and collaboration. Clients attended the Defy 2024 Conference, organized by the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC), where they gained valuable insights and networked with industry peers. EWOC founders engaged in matchmaking sessions with corporate suppliers, discussing potential partnerships and opportunities for growth. They also attended comprehensive presentations from both the public and private sectors, which provided crucial information on navigating business with Canadian companies and understanding the unique aspects of the Canadian market.

We extend our heartfelt MERCI to our CAMSC partners for inviting us and facilitating these meaningful connections with corporate and diverse businesses from both Canada and the US. This trip not only broadened our horizons but also strengthened our resolve to foster inclusive and prosperous business environments for women of color.

See you in 2025!
