We’re here to make recycling more transparent!

Whether your glass is dropped off or picked up from your door step, we sort it here in the gulf south, clean it from contaminates, and then crush it down to be used again, and again, and again!

Unlike plastic, GLASS IS ENDLESSLY RECYCLABLE!! So why wouldn’t we recycle it? ♻️🍻

We are excited to announce that has officially joined the Glass Half Full mission to reduce waste across, not only New Orleans, but the Gulf south!

Yall already know their pizza is good but now you can dine there knowing your empty bottles will end up in a better place.

Cheers!

It’s no surprise that Cure crafts incredible cocktails but what you might not know is they’re just as intentional behind the scenes, reducing food waste and recycling every empty bottle with us.

So far, we’ve helped them divert the weight of a full-grown male elephant in glass from landfills. Yeah… it’s that much.

Consider this your sign: go grab their daily punch. 🍹

Looking for a fun way to learn a bit about New Orleans history?

Tucked away in the lobby of this historic hotel is a bar that has partnered with us for just 6 months and has already hit some impressive milestones.

So if you’re looking to try Nola’s official cocktail, The Sazerac, look no further than The Roosevelt Hotel’s Sazerac Bar.

During March, we partnered up with FQMD and Keep Louisiana Beautiful to sponsor an initiative with local bars in the French Quarter to “Raise The Bar” on sustainability!

The results came in, and WOW 🤩 nearly 6,000 pounds of glass were diverted from landfills.

We couldn’t have done this without the community support so thank yall 🩵

Have you guys ever seen 32,000 golf balls at once? No? Neither have we, but we did recycle the weight equivalent in glass this weekend!

We had the best time out at the Zurich Classic, recycling everyone’s good times!

These events add up over the year, and we love seeing just how big an impact each can make.

Thank you ! We can’t wait for next year.

A good margarita AND sustainability? Sign us up!

Known for its amazing drinks & burrito battles on Wednesdays, Val’s is no secret to those who frequent Freret Street.

With over 19,000 glass bottles recycled, we estimate that Uptown has enjoyed about 249,000 margaritas and counting.

We will raise a glass to that!

Jazz Fest is almost here, bringing with it an influx of visitors to explore the city’s food, music, and culture. As tourism rises, so does waste, making it more important than ever to support local businesses that support sustainability. A Win-Win!

Cane & Table, a French Quarter favorite, has partnered with Glass Half Full’s glass recycling program for just 3 months and has already diverted over 4,500 pounds of glass from landfills!

Now, instead of sitting in a dump for millions of years, their empty bottles are being recycled into sand for coastal restoration right here in Louisiana.

This Jazz Fest, support New Orleans restaurants committed to sustainability and glass recycling.
