Six years ago, life pushed me out of one lane and forced me to trust a road I couldn’t fully see yet, but I could feel the warmth of the asphalt under my feet.
No big investors. No magic blueprint. Just faith, experience, grit, and enough sense to know I had more in me.
What started over twenty years ago in hospitality management didn’t stay there. I took the real skills with me: how to read a room, solve problems, manage pressure, invest in people, close business through relationships, think ahead, and make hard times look like a walk in the park. Turns out, those skills had value far beyond the four walls I used to confine them to.
That’s where Geaux Fig Co came in.
Over the years, I’ve helped local companies, national events, organizations, and some downright good people bring ideas to life, clean up confusion, sharpen vision, and uncover opportunities that were sitting in plain sight.
I didn't do it for money, although that's what keeps the lights on. I did it because I'm wired that way. I love to solve an unsolvable problem. My mantra: show me an issue with no solution, and I'll show you my next project.
When I was little, I was always told, Girl, God gave you a great mind. It didn’t mean much to me then, because FIG-uring things out came naturally. Now I understand exactly what they meant.
A lot of people are sitting on gifts they keep calling small because they come naturally. What comes naturally to you may be the very thing that changes your life and the lives of others.
So I’ve made a decision to use every gift, every lesson, every ounce of wisdom, and every bit of grace in my life. Fully. Boldly. Without apology. Join me, and do the same.
