Interesting job today. Boatlift beam came crashing down off the pilings and brought the whole boat cradle, beam and 20 foot long walkway along with it about 15 feet down. Along with the awesome “Boatlift Medic” Dimitri and my work co-worker Gary we were able to get the walkway and beam safely out of the water and then get the cradle up and high enough out of the water so they can stall another beam and be reattached. I was the diver in the water hooking everything up and the two guys top side helped to secure at all. We used a come along, ratchet straps, rope pulley system and my trusty Ho**ah dive tank to stay under and make sure everything was hooked up correctly. Six hours later job well done! Success!!!!

Hey Gulf harbors family, Skooba Steve here. I just got off the phone with Tony the owner of Docks and Decks Marine and they are an amazing company. Like myself they’re a stronghold in our neighborhood and they’re an honest and reputable company. I made a mistake earlier and I am rectifying that. If anyone saw the post earlier that I made which I deleted I made the mistake of thinking they were part of all the scams that we all get on our phone every day!!!!I jumped the gun and made a mistake I just wanted to correct what I said and let everyone know they’re legit and someone you could trust in our neighborhood. How’s it going in New Port Richey and Gulf Harbors family. Just finished securing a Floating Dock that broke off of a collapsed seawall to make sure it doesn’t go in the channel anymore and mess with any other boaters or anyone else. If at any time especially during the storms or hurricanes anyone needs any help in our waters that has to do with Floating Docks , dock pilings or anything give me, Skooba Steve a call. I will be there in a heartbeat. Just wanna make sure our community is safe and everybody can enjoy our beautiful neighborhood.

Gulf harbors woodlands, 4 Snap Jackets and 2 piling wraps. Hardest pour yet dealing with crazy strong currents. Had to hook up a rope and pulley system to get back and forth. Like usual everything came out great.

2 snap jackets to help support rotting pilings in Hudson. Had to deal with very uneven rocky ground it took a while to get it to sit straight but I made it work

Skooba Steve here in Gulf Harbors.
Today I’m straightening 2 crooked pilings with a Chain and come along on the top and a huge ratchet strap on the bottom. It went from crooked to straight. Came out great. Finish it off with two concrete snap jackets with fiberglass rebar and about 600 pounds of concrete each that I have buried into the ground about 2 feet.
I SPECIALIZE in piling repairs, double piling wrap (visqueen then 30mm black wrap w all stainless nails) and concrete Snap Jackets w/marine grade rebar, Dock Redecking , floating jet ski dock installation, new decking hardware for old rusted out docks and I build wooden floating docks.
I reside in Gulf Harbors but I’ll work for just about anywhere here in the southern part of Florida.
