We are searching for a skilled Plumber or Plumbing Apprentice who will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and installation of piping projects. The Apprentice helps to maintain a clean, safe, working together environment. PRIMARY DUTIES:
Installs PVC, cast iron, copper, PEX and piping hangers
Solders copper, pro-press and solvent weld fittings
Maintains the excavator to install underground piping.
Has a good understanding on how to operate the tools in a safe and efficient manner
Reports to the jobsite On time everyday. additional hours as necessary
Maintains constant communication with the Journeyman, Foreman and Superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
1-year experience minimum, 2 years’ experience preferred
Must be a good communicator, verbal and written
Must be self-motivated, hardworking and reliable
Must have general knowledge of plumbing systems and the desire to advance
Must be able to pass E-Verify, background check, physical and drug screen
Able to work in fast paced environments and accomplish tasks in timely manner
Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds
