We were upgraded to this beautiful suite with a wrap around balcony and incredible views. If you go request room 911. Quiet and backs up to Lake Jackson. Still cool and drizzly this morning, but beautiful just the same!

If you have never visited St. Augustine, Florida, especially during the holidays, it is a must! So beautiful! We visited for NYE and it was wonderful. We started with a sunset and light tour on the Osprey, it was beautiful. They had a bar and provided unique glasses to see the holiday lights, which was a great deal of fun. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Sainte George Restaurant with a table on the balcony and were able to enjoy the fireworks across the bay. We then walked through the historic district enjoying the lights and enjoyed the end of the evening with a champagne toast a cute piano and martini bar only steps from our hotel. The next day we enjoyed early morning coffee at a unique coffee shop and then breakfast at Maple Street Biscuits. The food was great but expect to stand in line and wait for both to order and a table and then another hour to two for your food. (about 2 and an half hours total, we understand that is fairly normal if you arrive after 7:30 am) All in all St. Augustine doesn’t disappoint!

We have seen gorgeous sunsets all around the world, but this is insanely beautiful and it is right in our backyard. Enjoy!
