Hello, my name is Jaime Alexander Davidson, also known as Gr**go Man. Today is not just about me, it is about us. It is about the voices that were silenced, the cultures that were ignored, and the legacies that built a movement from nothing. Prison Reform Meets Arts &_Entertainment is a declaration of truth: that Panamanians, united with Jamaicans, West Indians, Latinos, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Colombians, and African Americans, etc., built the foundation of what the world now calls Reggaetón. We built it in the streets, in the sound systems, in the studios, and in the struggle. From behind prison walls to global stages, we carried it forward.
Today, we honor those who stood firm, gave without asking, risked their lives, and used their voices to keep hope alive. This is our legacy. This is our truth. And these are the people whose contributions must be remembered forever."
