We make our Fundamental subwoofer with solid 1” thick torrefied Pennsylvania oak hardwood.

Paired with our smaller speakers like the Helios (or the Excelsior as well as DeVille) our Fundamental will make them sound like one of our larger systems. It’s all meant to work together. But you can also use it with your other brand of speakers. The Fundamental accepts a lot of power and produces a lot of bass. Lots of good, clean, fast low bass.

There are virtually no books in print on how to listen, and none we know of on how to do that somatically, using your whole body, not just your ears. This is an enormously valuable, useful book to help you live more fully, and had fallen out of print.

This is one of our most favorite special custom DeVille SQ’s we made. Some time ago a client provided us with this stunning vintage ‘Boro‘ fabric.

Boro means ragged or tattered, and refers to a type of Japanese textiles that have been mended or patched together. The materials, mostly hand-woven, have been stitched or re-woven together to create an often many-layered material used for warm, practical clothing. The beauty comes from the unintentional artistry created from layers of patching and mending cloth to extend its lifespan.

The DeVille loudspeaker already comes in a wide range of finishes, and we welcome custom orders, so we can build you a DeVille that matches your style.
