After 4+ years at , I recently joined as a Data Cloud & AI Enterprise Account Executive (or Specialist)— diving deeper into how data and AI are transforming the customer experience.

Join me on my journey at a new company and in a new role! ✨ First step is creating a 30-60-90 day plan and getting it co-signed by your manager to ensure you’re working on the right things.

for me— Onboarding tasks + meeting internal stakeholders. This NY trip was HUGE for me to meet my Solution Engineer (we’ll be on calls together everyday!), leadership, and extended team. I also attended a 1:Many customer workshop and hosted a lunch & learn for my Account Directors.

Most learners never make it past the certification 🤯

Here’s why:

They get the AWS badge, post about it…

…then go right back to “study mode.”

No projects. No job hunt. No interview prep.

Just more YouTube videos and finding more badges to collect.

Here’s how to fix it:
1️⃣ Build hands-on AWS projects
2️⃣ Showcase them in a portfolio
3️⃣ Start applying to real jobs (even if you don’t feel ready)
4️⃣ Prep interviews and tailor your resume for cloud roles

If you’re certified but not getting hired:
🎯 Stop studying. Start putting yourself out there.

2024 was the year I discovered that the most powerful computing happens not in the cloud, but in human connections! 💡

This year taught me that true innovation isn’t just about technology - it’s about empowering people to see their own potential. From AWS to Career Coach Jenn, every interaction was about bridging technical expertise with human possibility.

⚡️ **My 2024 Highlights:**

• Transitioned to ISV Account Manager at AWS, supporting incredible software companies in their cloud transformation journeys
• Became a Board Member of the Technology Association of Georgia’s Cloud Society, helping shape Atlanta’s tech ecosystem
• Hosted technical workshops reaching 300+ students, demystifying artificial intelligence for the next generation
• Expanded Career Coach Jenn’s impact, helping Millennials and Gen Z navigate their tech career paths
