🚨 NEW VIDEO ANALYSIS
“The Illusion of Strength – Kathy Hochul’s Polling Reality”
Governor Kathy Hochul’s recent poll numbers from Siena College appear to show improvement—but a deeper dive tells a different story.
✔️ Favorability barely above water at 44% to 43%
✔️ Job approval modest at 48% to 45%
✔️ Re-election outlook bleak—just 39% want to re-elect her, while 48% prefer someone else.
The data reveals what many miss: incremental progress without a stable political base. Democrats are lukewarm, Republicans are united in opposition, and independents are still out of reach. She’s making marginal gains across the board—but has locked in no core constituency.
Even her policy wins—like a smartphone ban in schools—are undermined by a lack of public support for her political tactics, such as delaying the state budget.
With 2026 on the horizon, Democrats must face a critical question:
Is Kathy Hochul the strongest candidate to lead New York—and help protect congressional control in a high-stakes election?
