We just installed our Potain MDT 389 tower crane at 4241 Aurora Street an 11-story luxury residential development bringing 72 residences to Coral Gables. The crane is configured with a 148-foot boom and is freestanding on nine sections. We are excited to support construction on this fantastic project.

We’re back on Broadway, at our Riu Hotel project! We carefully removed the mechanical units we previously placed on the 4th floor and relocated them to the 54th-floor slab. In addition, we hoisted the chillers and precisely landed them high above Broadway.
Forward Mechanical performed the work, with RNC Industries constructing the concrete superstructure. U.S. Crane & Rigging also fabricated the tower crane’s steel base for the soon-to-be 633-foot hotel skyscraper.

U.S. Crane & Rigging mobile department recently deployed our Liebherr LTM 1100 mobile crane at 989 Sixth Avenue in New York City, where our Favco M440 tower crane previously supported the building’s construction. Configured with 62.20 kips of counterweight, the LTM 1100 carefully hoisted an approximately 32,000-pound generator eight stories above the street, precisely placing the heavy equipment into position on the building’s rooftop. To safely hoist a generator of this weight it was broken up into pieces.
The lift was performed for electrical contractor Pinnacle Electrical, with Vertcon Builders serving as general contractor and crane engineering provided by Valjato Engineering.
