Up, Up, Up! Our team recently mobilized our Liebherr LTM 1250, equipped with 128,000 pounds of counterweight, to 130 West 131st Street in Manhattan. Working in a tight urban environment, the crane was utilized to lift and place two pieces of excavation equipment to the rear of the property, allowing site operations to continue efficiently and safely. Careful planning and precise ex*****on ensured the equipment was successfully positioned while minimizing disruption to the surrounding area.

Another successful heavy lift in Brooklyn. At 275 Chestnut Street, our crew mobilized our Liebherr LTM 1250 mobile crane, equipped with 192,000 lbs. of counterweight, to safely rig and place Con Edison vaults weighing more than 58,000 lbs. into position.

This month, we proudly congratulate Austin Auringer on earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of North Dakota College of Engineering and Mines, continuing a family legacy that has helped shape the tower crane, precast, steel, and rigging industry for more than four decades.
From crane operators and master riggers to engineers, accountants, and office staff, U.S. Crane & Rigging remains committed to training the next generation of industry leaders. Our teams combine old-school hands-on experience with modern engineering, safety standards, and advancing crane technologies to prepare for the future of construction. We are building the next generation of crane operators, steel erectors, precast erectors, tower crane technicians, mechanics, and master riggers. Our company continues to invest in ongoing technical training for Favco, Potain, and Liebherr equipment to stay ahead of new manufacturing upgrades, maintenance procedures, and operational efficiencies. even advising on efficiency for upcoming models.
