When we met Wavvii Baby in 2021, she was an artist with only 3 songs to her name. One of them was titled “Gemini,” and it had gained the most traction out of all of her records. Listening to the song, it was clear to me that the song was not only Wavvii bringing to life who she was as a person, but it was also a badge of honor for everyone who identifies as a Gemini.
As we pushed through her artist development process, we mentioned how important this record will be to her catalog and that we should consider making a series out of it. Fast-forward two years later, Wavvii Baby and Flow co-write “GEMINI SZN,” the second installation of the series. An entirely different take on the same concept as “Gemini,” but this song was more introspective and included a nod to every other zodiac sign in the song’s closing bridge.
A year later, ‘Summer Baby’ has arrived and people have been singing high praises calling it a “very consistent project” and acknowledging that “the beat selection [is] phenomenal [and the] mixes are chef’s kiss.”
