β¨ Big News from Resource Room Learning Center and Pathways Academy β¨
We are excited to announce a new partnership between Resource Room Learning Center, Pathways Academy, and POPS ABA to provide behavior therapy and support alongside educational services.
And this is important because this kind of partnership is rare.
In most settings, education and ABA happen separately. A student may receive tutoring in one place, therapy in another, school support somewhere else, and families are left trying to connect all the pieces.
At Resource Room, we are working to do something different.
Through this partnership, students can receive educational support in coordination with ABA services, including both one-on-one academic support through Resource Room and in-school support for Pathways Academy students.
That matters because many of the skills students need most are not learned in isolation. They are practiced in real settings, with real expectations, real frustration, real transitions, real peer interactions, and real opportunities to grow.
ABA support combined with educational services can help students work on skills such as:
β
Starting and completing academic tasks
β
Managing frustration during challenging work
β
Transitioning between activities
β
Participating in group instruction
β
Handling disagreement appropriately
β
Building cooperation and peer relationships
β
Developing independence and self-advocacy
β
Preparing for internships, jobs, and adult life
For Pathways Academy students, this means behavior support can be integrated into the school day in a real educational environment. For Resource Room students, this means families can explore how ABA support may work alongside tutoring, executive functioning support, and individualized academic instruction.
This is not common. In fact, very few educational environments are able to welcome ABA providers into the learning setting in this way. Public schools generally do not allow outside ABA providers to work directly within the school day, and many charter or traditional settings have limited flexibility.
We are proud to partner with POPS ABA and Hunter Weber, M.A., BCBA, LBA, whose experience with adolescents, older students, and adults aligns closely with our mission: helping students build the skills they need not just for school, but for life.
This partnership opens the door for support in areas such as academics, regulation, independence, life skills, parent consultation, home-based routines, and real-world readiness.
We believe this is a rare and valuable opportunity for our families, and we are excited to bring this next level of support to our Resource Room and Pathways community.
Families interested in learning more should contact Resource Room Learning Center directly.
π Education. Behavior support. Independence. Real-world growth.
That is the work.
