This is one of my apps — development is still in progress.
Tons of filtering options, everything is on one screen (the bottom part changes depending on which button is clicked), but most importantly, it's heavily automated.
Everything that can be predicted is predicted and autofilled based on various rules. Exporting any chunk of data takes one click. Pretty much every manual task that was previously done in Excel is now automated inside the app.
The goal is simple: if the app can figure something out on its own, the user shouldn't have to do it manually. And if i can save them a click by designing something in a certain way - I will do so.
One click doesn't seem like much. But one click here, one click there, they add up, and then you have an app which is clunky, annoying to use and you find yourself sending not so nice wishes to "whoever developed this piece of ....". Lol, as you can tell, I've been there myself. So I develop in a completely different way.
This kind of development takes a ton of thinking, huge amount of time spent on fine tuning and it's expensive. But it all pays off once it goes in production.
This app will save them tens of hours every month and eliminate most of the mistakes that are bound to happen when people have to do the same repetitive manual work over and over again.
And I'm still adding more automation 😁
