A Coconut Husk May Hold a Clue to Fighting Ocean Pollution

In 2026, Hawaiʻi high school student Vera Wang reportedly investigated fungi naturally growing inside coconut husks and found that some strains could break down compounds associated with plastic and sunscreen pollution.

The $20,000 DIY Yacht That Crossed Europe Without Conventional Fuel

The Rare White Capybara

A striking white capybara can look almost unreal when surrounded by its usual brown-coated relatives.
