Join me tonight for our first “Art Together” call with Follow Your Art!

I’m excited to host our pilot "Art Together" call - a 60-minute session to connect, create, and share. We’ll see how it flows, get to know each other, spend some time making art, and wrap up. (Note - the call may be between 60 to 90 minutes, but feel free to drop off whenever you need to.)

Typically reserved for Follow Your Art members (check out lanakitcher.substack.com/subscribe to learn more), I'm opening up the first one to friends of members, too. ;-) If this is something you're curious about, DM me to learn more.

March 12th, 8:30 PM Eastern.

Bring your own art/craft/creative project. Use this designated time for yourself and your creativity. Meet with the community for accountability and connection.

M-art-CH: 30 Days of Small Art!

I’ve been feeling the weight of the world lately, and I realized I need to breathe out, and invest more energy into a creative outlet. Inspired by WendyMac's 30 days challenge in January, this March, I’m starting "M-art-CH," a month of doing a small bit of art every day, just for me.
An "Art Together" night is coming up tomorrow, too!
It doesn’t have to be perfect. Actually, it can't be perfect since the goal is to only spend a few minutes. A doodle, a paper crane, a quick photograph, or even 5 minutes of knitting... anything creative counts. The goal is simply to show, a little bit, each day.

Here’s how it works:
1. I filled out a Prompt Card Template (available on Substack to members) with 30 random ideas to try this month.
2. I’m committing 5–10 minutes each day to create. Some of them are from the card, others are whatever inspiration strikes.
3. I’m sharing my art in the Substack chat for members, but you can keep yours private or share on another platform.

After a few years of life shifting in beautiful and unexpected ways, I’ve found myself stepping into a new creative chapter.

Alongside my consulting work, I’ve started exploring creativity and art… slowly, imperfectly, but aiming for adding a lot of heart. I’ve been documenting the journey on Substack where I’m sharing reflections, creative practices, and encouragement for anyone who’s felt called to create - for the first time, or again.

Soon I’ll be adding creative prompts, a supportive community, and monthly virtual “art together” sessions.
