So honored to be a guest of the Honorable Jong-Kook Lee, Consul General of Korea at the Hanbok Fashion Show in Chicago. They are celebrating 50 years of The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago! The fashion show was spectacular! I had the opportunity to meet some of the models and the designer of the clothes, which was a lovely treat! I was mesmerized by the beauty and elegance of the Hanbok dresses. Still celebrating our 10 year anniversary and reminiscing about our wedding day...
Back in 2009 (around our 1st anniversary) Tim and I were elated to learn that Carolina Bride Magazine chose to feature our wedding and love story in their October 2009 issue. I was also incredibly honored and excited to be chosen as their October 2009 Cover Bride. Great memories...
It was especially fun tonight watching the kids see the magazine for the first time. Breslin kept saying, “Mommy look, that’s you!” ☺️

Korean National Day Reception at the Union League Club. So honored to meet the Consul-General of Korea Mr. Jong-Kook Lee and his beautiful wife. She was wearing the traditional Korean dress called Hanbok. Jessie Jackson gave an inspirational speech tonight and we listened to some beautiful and moving Korean music. Such a fun evening!
