Just wow… Lord, You really did it with her. 🙏🏾 Every day I see Your favor in the way she loves You, leads with strength, and pours into our family. She’s an amazing leader, my business partner, my best friend, and the love of my life. A powerhouse mom who carries grace and wisdom, and a prophetic voice that keeps me grounded.

It’s not always easy, but we are locked in—triple braided cord strong. 💪🏾 Don’t let the world trip you up—there are people out here fully enjoying marriage. I’m grateful we get to build, dream, and do life together—for real, for real. Our Lord is faithful, and we’re locked in. Forever us. ❤️

Full circle.

The last time me and were on this stage at we were guest speakers sharing a message on marriage. Today, God brought us back—not as guests, but as pastors of our home church, entrusted to lead the marriage ministry together.

Only God could write a story this sweet. What once was an invitation to speak has now become a calling to serve.

We honor and thank our senior pastors and for trusting us with this assignment.

Everywhere 📍a “lately” dump. ❤️

We’ve been so many places lately. Sold our house, moved into a new space, and two weeks later hit the road for three weeks straight. Came back for a day and then turned around and hit Alabama for a day.

We wouldn’t change a thing. Grateful for it all—the memories, the chaos, the new rhythms. This is the life we prayed for, and now we’re living it… one adventure at a time.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 23 years — 19 years as a club promoter, 15 years running a personal training and group fitness business, and the last 5 years leading a social media content company partnering with major global brands. Many of these seasons overlapped, but each one taught me something new about people, purpose, and potential. Through it all, I’ve seen firsthand how much impact the marketplace can have on the Kingdom.

Yet here’s the reality: only 1% of entrepreneurs are ever discipled through the church.

But when they are?
– They give 3x more than the average Christian.
– 75% step into leadership in their communities and churches.
– 25% regularly lead someone to faith.
– 64% launch community impact programs.
– 73% strengthen the faith of their teams.

This is why I’m so honored to step into a new role as Pastor of Marketplace Ministry at — equipping and discipling those called to business and influence, and helping believers live, love, and lead like Jesus in the workplace.

“Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable… Tell them to use their money to do good… so that they may experience true life.” — 1 Timothy 6:17–19 (NLT)

Thank you, Pastors and . This is the vision we’re building together: marketplace leaders trusting God over wealth, living generously, and leaving an eternal impact.

Running through my old stomping grounds in a new season hits different. I’m reminded again—God wastes nothing. Every job, every win, every loss, every lesson… it all mattered. And I promise you, the same is true for your life.

Fun fact: I’m a two-time Lululemon ambassador (legacy status now 👀), and I was named Best Fitness Instructor in NYC back in 2019.

But long before that, I worked at the Apple Store across the street from this Lululemon. I used to promote parties in this same neighborhood for years. And just up the block, on a hotel rooftop where I once partied—I gave my life to Jesus and got baptized in that very pool.

My story’s got layers. It’s been colorful. And a lot of pivotal moments have happened right here. Again, God wastes nothing.

One thing that’s remained true in every season? My love for people and community. That hasn’t changed. I still believe the most powerful thing you can do is see people. Love on them. Prioritize relationships. Make that your agenda—and watch what God does with it.

Okay… back to running around my favorite city with my favorite girl, ’cause we’re kid-less for a few days ✌🏾❤️

We’re on sabbatical this month and fully leaning into it. Team Brooks are road-tripping and we’ve made our way back up north.

We’ve been in a flow state, and flowing is exactly what we’re doing. There’s something sacred about slowing down to catch the rhythm of God again.

We’re stopping at some of our favorite family spots, seeing some of our favorite people, hitting up some of our favorite date night gems— while still finding time to rest, recharge, and reset along the way.

This past Friday, we were officially ordained as pastors at

We don’t take this lightly. For us, ordination isn’t about having a title—it’s about carrying the weight of the call with humility and joy. It’s a public yes to what we’ve already been walking out privately: loving people, serving faithfully, and pointing everything back to Jesus.

Over the past year, it’s been an honor to pastor this house—to sit with people in their real moments, to create space for healing and hope, and to build something bigger than us.

This next chapter is a continuation of that. We’re excited, expectant, and surrendered to what God wants to do through us in this next season.

Thank you to our pastors and our entire HopeX family, and every person who’s walked with us and prayed for us along the way. The best is still ahead—and we’re just getting started.

So much has happened in the last few weeks. Honestly, we’re still processing it all and truly look forward to sharing what God is doing in us and through us. One thing for sure—God is faithful and He keeps His promises.

Even in the waiting, even in the whirlwind, He’s been steady. We’ve seen His hand, His provision, His confirmation in ways that only He could orchestrate.

We’re not just quoting it—we’re actually living in Ephesians 3:20 blessings.
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.” 🙌🏾

And we’re standing on Jeremiah 29:11—He’s got plans to prosper us, give us hope, and a future.

This next chapter is all Him… and we’re just honored to be part of the story!

Happy Mother’s Day to my wife, my partner, my co-shepherd in life and ministry.

you don’t just mother our boys, you disciple them. You don’t just love them, you lead them. You don’t just dream—you take spirit-led risks and walk it out in faith, showing them what it looks like to be bold and grounded in the Word.

You carry the weight of motherhood, ministry, and marketplace calling with a strength that humbles me. You pastor with power, parent with grace, and build with vision. And through it all—you make our house feel like home.

Sage and Phoenix are blessed to have a mother who doesn’t just talk about faith, but lives it out loud.

Thank you for being the example. For being the standard. For being you.

Easter Sunday 2025.
Our first Easter service at the Lawrenceville Arts Center.
Our first Easter as pastors at HopeX.
A day marked by resurrection power and real-life hope.

From the moment the doors opened, God moved. People walked in carrying burdens and walked out with new life in Jesus. Joy. Healing. Worship. The kind of peace only the risen King can bring.

We didn’t just host a service—we created space for Heaven to touch earth.

This photo right here—me, Shantel, Sage, and Phoenix—captures just a piece of it. Grateful for the call. Grateful for this community. And most of all—grateful for the cross.

He is risen. Hope is alive.
